During the LotR community convention I had a game with Tankred. Afterwards we chatted about the important role of cavalry for Harad armies. Since there is now a limit of 700 points for tournament armies I was able to add some raiders in my army consisting of an Mûmak and lots of infantry.
I was not satisfied with only two poses of the Games Workshop raiders especially because I only wanted to field riders with lances. Inspired by Tankred and his rider conversions I started to look for dromedars. Finally I found very nice ones at Perry-Miniatures.

I used the rider models, too, since I cut them right in the middle and used their legs as puppets. That was quite hard work since I had to be very careful in order to keep the feet unbroken which could happen easily.
I glued the upper part of Haradrim plastic models on top of the feet. Afterwards I glued both on top of a dromedar.
Afterwards I began to model clothing, coats, weapons and belts. Ebob´s articles on modelling helped me a lot.
