Tankred´s Moria box Fellowship

At the beginning I painted the plastic version of the fellowship just in order to have a test model for my painting scheme when I painted the hobbits from the Breaking of the fellowship box.

During the painting I liked the models more and more and finally I saw that they came out very nice although the models have a few strange limbs and spots. Since I will present a moria table on the Hamburgian gaming event Tactica I painted the complete box. Now it will be possible to play Balin´s tomb.

All poses are very voluminous i.e. the limbs bend in different directions compared to many poses in white metal. I still prefer the white metal fellowship but this box is really a nice one. There are only a few Boromir models, so this one is a special one too.

I modified the scenery pieces with some insulation foam and I glued sand on them in order to give them a old non smooth look. Adding some floor plates made the tiny scenery a bit more impressive.

At the end of february the models can be seen at Tactica Hamburg. For sure you can play with them there either.
